B. Payment Information (via Stripe) Payments are processed securely through our Stripe payment gateway.
- We do not store your credit or debit card information on our servers.
- Stripe is responsible for handling payment data under its own privacy and security policies.
2. Use of Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Booking Processing: To confirm, manage, and deliver the tours and services you have contracted.
- Communication: To send you appointment notifications (pending, confirmed, canceled), tickets, and reminders via email.
- Customer Service: To manage questions, change requests, or logistical issues related to your tour.
- Legal Purposes: To comply with our legal and tax obligations.
3. Legal Basis for Data Processing

- Contract Execution: Processing is necessary to fulfill the service contract (the tour booking) that you have requested.

- Service Providers (Staff Members): We share your name, number of people, date, time, and pickup point (hotel) with the service provider (guide or operating company) assigned to your tour so they can coordinate logistics.

- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or any government authority.
5. User Rights (ARCO Rights)
You have the right to exercise Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition rights (ARCO Rights) over your personal data, as well as the conditions of purchases made:
A. ARCO Rights You have the right to:

- Additional Purchase Rights: You have the right to receive the contracted service according to the tour description and the confirmed date and time, and to be informed of any changes or cancellations by the provider.
6. Sales, Deposit, and Cancellation Policies
A. Nature of Deposits and Payments Payments made to secure your booking (deposits or full payments) are non-refundable.
B. Refund Conditions Refunds are only made under one of these two conditions:
- Cancellation by the Provider (Attributable to Playita Mia): If the tour is canceled by the operator or provider (e.g., due to adverse weather, logistical issues, or last-minute unavailability), a full refund will be issued or a date/tour change will be offered.
- No Refund for No Shows: Refunds do not apply under any circumstances for “No Shows,” late arrivals that prevent taking the tour, or any other cause attributable to the guest.
7. Confidentiality and Security
Playita Mia is committed to protecting the personal information of its users. We adopt administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use, access, or processing.
- Data Transmission: We use secure technologies for data transmission, including encryption and updated security protocols.
- Secure Payments: Your credit or debit card information is not stored on our servers; it is processed directly by Stripe, which guarantees a secure checkout system.
- Restricted Access: Only authorized personnel (such as Staff Members and administrators) have access to your booking information (name, phone, and tour details) necessary for providing the service.
8. Changes to this Policy
Playita Mia reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in legislation, our information practices, or our services.
- Notification: We will notify you of substantial changes to the policy through a visible update on our website or by email.
